【不离】法王如意宝：邪恶的魔王，会幻变出五大魔
有多少傲慢、贪心、吝啬、嗔心、愚痴，你就有多少苦
Your Suffering Is in Direct Proportion to Your Pride, Craving, Anger, Stinginess, and Ignorance
魔王躲在我们心灵最深处，不断射出的五支箭，也叫“花箭”。
The demon king hides in the deepest part of our heart and continually shoots the five arrows, also called the flower arrows.
它表面上看去相当吸引人，令人不禁心向往之，可一旦射中了我们的心，就能引发令人颤抖的大苦。
They are lovely to look at, so we can’t help yearning for them. But as soon as they pierce our heart, we tremble with great suffering.
所以，这五支花箭，又号称魔王幻变出来的五大魔。
These five flower arrows are also known as the five great demons emanated from the demon king.
对此，我们应细心辨认，不要掉以轻心。
We should carefully identify them, and we must not take them lightly.
能把我们扔到很低贱地步的，叫傲慢魔；
The one that can cast us into a very degraded state is called the demon of pride.
对男人或是女人，乃至外境一切美妙的色、声、香、味、触等，生起爱念，内心因此而受到束缚，这叫贪心魔；
When one yearns for a man or a woman, or for anything with a beautiful appearance—a form, sound, smell, taste, or touch—that causes the mind to be fettered, this is called the demon of craving.
可以把我们引入三恶趣的，是吝啬魔；
The one that can lead us into the three lower realms is the demon of stinginess.
将自己和别人的善根全部摧毁的，是嗔心魔；
The one that completely destroys our own and others’ virtue is the demon of anger.
对别人生起竞争心，希望他不要得到名声财富，嘴上也经常对他说是道非，这叫嫉妒魔。
The one that leads us to feel competitive with others, hoping they never attain fame or fortune, and also to slander them, is called the demon of envy.
无始以来，这些魔时时刻刻都在损恼我们，给我们带来了难以言喻的痛苦。
Since time without beginning, these demons have been tormenting us constantly. They have brought us unspeakable pain and suffering.
若能早日认清这一点，相信不管是谁，一刹那也不愿与这些烦恼大敌共处。
If you can clearly see this one day soon, I believe that no matter who you are, you will not wish to live with these great enemy afflictions for even a moment.
当然，这五大魔的首脑，就是魔王——愚痴魔，
Of course, the leader of these five demons is none other than the demon king—the demon of ignorance.
只有睁开了智慧的双眼，才能完全摆脱他的诱惑。
Only when you have opened the eyes of wisdom can you completely eliminate his influence.
或者，还可以先用智慧宝剑把魔王的五种幻术全部斩破，
Alternatively, you can first use the sword of wisdom to strike down all of the demon king’s five emanations.
这时魔王只能乖乖就擒，无力反抗了。
Then the demon king will lose the power to resist and can only yield meekly.
因此，不管显宗还是密宗，最根本的就是要证悟心的本性，
Thus, whether we follow the path of the Sutrayana or the Vajrayana, the most fundamental point is to realize the nature of mind.
如此一来，所有魔众才会无所遁形，自然而然消失。
Only then will all the demons have nowhere to hide and naturally disperse.
